What is the cat skiing terrain like?

The VHC snow cat skiing terrain!

Our snow cat skiing terrain is in an approximately 5 square mile (3200 acre) area, accessed directly from our base camp.

Our snow cat skiing terrain rises from 500' MSL to 4200' MSL offering a total of 3700 feet of vertical drop!!! (this is more vertical decent than is to be found at all but a few ski areas anywhere you would travel!).  Currently accessing just over 3200 acres, the cat skiing terrain undulates from mild 25 glades to 45 degree pitches and ramps with hits and drops scattered about the terrain.

Offering both north and south slope aspects the cat terrain consistently holds fine quality snow in normal weather cycles offering a good variety of skiing options each day of your stay.

The runs vary in length, the longest continuous run being just over 3,100 vertical feet!. The lower protected portion (2000') of our terrain offers tree skiing for low light storm day conditions and the upper portions of the above tree line snow cat skiing terrain is much like a large majority of the available heli ski terrain expansive open and gladed skiing terrain.
