Valdez Heli Camps

Geared for expert-only clients, we will escort you down some of the tallest peaks in the Chugach including attempts at Mt. Marcus Baker (13,176 ft) and its closest brothers.

The trip will begin in Valdez where you will enjoy a spectacular helicopter flight over the mountains and glaciers surrounding Prince William Sound. 45 minutes later you will arrive at home base - our mother ship anchored in the waters of the sound.

From the mother ship we will fly directly to the peaks that will be attempted each day.

The Sound to Summit is a 4-day adventure package that will include the most extreme heli-skiing available, plus sea-kayaking among the glaciers, freshly caught halibut and shrimp (among other luxuries) for dinner, comfortable accommodation, movies-on-demand, and a full-sized hot tub on board.

For the 2009 season, only yhtree Sound to Summit trips will be offered, both beginning at the end of April, (dates to be determined) and seats will be strictly limited to 9 guests per adventure. The all-inclusive price for the 2009 Sound to Summit adventure is US$9999

For those who wish to maximize their Alaskan adventure by combining a week of Valdez heli-skiing with the Sound to Summit experience, a special options combining as stay at Valdez Heli-Camps will be offered.
