You don’t have to be a pro to heliski with us Valdez Heli-Camps can accommodate any compatible group for the big mountain heliskiing experience of a lifetime. We offer a huge variety heliskiing and snowboarding terrain that’s second to none. Even if you don’t bring your own group, we’ll team you with skiers of similar abilities so you can enjoy the freedom of wide-open slopes and skiing side by side with friends.

Relax into the day with a high level of security. Or mix it up and add a couple powder cruises to your more challenging runs. However you want to shape your heliskiing or heli snowboarding adventure, our pilots and guides can help you do it all.

While we can accommodate most skiers, the basic requirements are that you should be fit and at minimum an advanced intermediate skier or snowboarder. That is, you can ski/ride a variety of snow conditions with confidence and minimal difficulty. We ask most people who are questioning their own abilities if, when they visit a ski resort, they can ski the whole mountian top to bottom and don't "avoid" runs because of the dificulty level. If this is true of you and your abilities, VHC is just the introduction to big mountain skiing you have been waiting for! If you are still unsure, please feel free to contact us. We also recommend that you experiment at your local ski area with wide base powder or all mountain skis.
